Important information regarding payment when shopping online
The EU has set new security requirements for online shopping. This means that when you need to pay, you may be asked to use either:
- NemID key app or key viewer (paper cards can no longer be used to approve card payments online).
- SMS code, which you will receive from Nets when you need to approve your card payments (see below how to set up your mobile number for this service).
Tips if you have difficulties completing payment
When you shop on Shop-Amtrup.dk via your computer:
If you encounter an error while completing your order, try refreshing the page by pressing F5. You can also click in the field where you have entered the website address and press ENTER to reload the page.
When you shop on Shop-Amtrup.dk via mobile or app:
In our app, you will be automatically redirected to a Nets window when paying. Here you can verify the transaction either by choosing SMS code or NemID.
Some customers unfortunately experience problems completing payment via the Android app. We recommend that you instead try via our website.
If you choose SMS code:
If you have registered your mobile number and personal code with Nets, you will receive an SMS from Nets with a one-time code that you need to enter along with a personal code. If you have not previously registered your mobile number and personal code, you can do it here via Nets. Registration is only necessary the first time you need to approve an online payment. After that, you will automatically receive an SMS from Nets with a one-time code that you need to use along with your personal code when you choose to approve your payment with SMS code.
If you choose NemID:
Once the approval is completed via the NemID key app or key viewer, make sure to go back. Only then will the payment be completed, and you can see your order confirmation. If it doesn't work, it might be due to Nets, and we recommend that you complete the purchase again on our website Shop-Amtrup.dk
NOTE: If you wish to use the NemID app – and you don't have it already, you can find it where you get your apps. Note that Nets states that it can take up to an hour before the NemID app is activated and can be used in connection with online shopping.
General
- If you try to pay with a saved payment card and the payment is declined, you need to remove the card – and then add it again. This way, the card is correctly approved with Nets' new two-factor authentication, and you can then complete the payment.
- If you are unsure whether your order has gone through, we recommend that you check that you have received your order confirmation by email.
- If you edit your order, be aware that you need to perform the two-factor authentication again when paying.
What is two-factor authentication?
When the new EU requirements for online shopping come into effect on nemlig.com on January 4th, you will need to approve your online payments with either NemID or an SMS code (two-factor authentication). When a payment needs to be approved with two security factors, it provides even greater security and identification for online payments. This way, it becomes more difficult for cybercriminals to misuse payment cards.
Can I avoid entering my payment card details every time?
Yes, you can register up to several payment cards to your account, so you don't have to enter card details with each order. You still need to approve the payment with two-factor authentication.
NOTE: If there are two or more of you completing orders, be aware that it is an advantage to add multiple payment cards to the same nemlig account. This way, the individual cardholder and person responsible for the order will receive the two-factor authentication directly and can complete the payment. You can enter card details and add multiple payment cards here.
You can read more about two-factor authentication from your own bank (opens in new window):

What payment options do I have?
As a private individual, you can complete an order using most payment cards: Dankort, Visa/Dankort, Visa Electron, MasterCard and American Express.
How much does it cost to use a credit card?
For payment cards issued to private individuals within Denmark, payment is fee-free.
For business cards as well as private cards issued outside of Denmark, a card fee is charged. The rates are as follows:
Danish business cards: 1.781%
Business cards issued outside of Denmark: 2.958%
Private cards issued outside of the EU: 2.958%
Why has Shop-Amtrup.dk reserved an amount on my account?
When you shop with cards such as MasterCard / Debit and VISA Electron, the money for your order is not deducted immediately. And since it is not possible to deduct a larger amount than what is available in the account, the agreed amount is reserved on the account, so we are sure that the amount can be deducted when the order is packed and invoiced.
